The focus of Advanced Public Speaking is to give students authentic speaking opportunities which will help them understand the importance of audience analysis.  Students are expected to prepare, rehearse, write and research materials appropriate for different audiences and diffferent intended purposes.  Students will use dramatic skills, oral interpretation, improvisation, impromptu, and public speaking skills for various speaking engagements.  Students will also perform various types of presentations to authentic audiences and for the public.  This will sometimes require students to perform outside of the normal school day.
